2:75. அவர்கள் (இஸ்ரவேலர்கள்) உங்களை நம்புவார்கள் என்று ஆசைப்படுகின்றீர்களா? அவர்களில் ஒரு பகுதியினர் *அல்லாஹ்வின் வார்த்தைகளைச் செவியேற்று விளங்கிய பின் அறிந்து கொண்டே அதை மாற்றி விட்டனர்*.
أَفَتَطْمَعُونَ أَنْ يُؤْمِنُوا لَكُمْ وَقَدْ كَانَ فَرِيقٌ مِنْهُمْ يَسْمَعُونَ كَلَامَ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ يُحَرِّفُونَهُ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا عَقَلُوهُ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ
Do you hope that they will believe in you, when some of them used to *hear the Word of God, and then deliberately distort it, even after understanding it?*
