அளவற்ற அருளாளனும், நிகரற்ற அன்புடையோனுமாகிய *அல்லாஹ்வின் பெயரால்…*

2:185 இந்தக் *குர்ஆன் ரமளான் மாதத்தில் அருளப்பட்டது. (இது) மனிதர்களுக்கு நேர்வழி காட்டும். நேர்வழியைத் தெளிவாகக்* கூறும். (பொய்யை விட்டு உண்மையை) பிரித்துக் காட்டும். உங்களில் அம்மாதத்தை அடைபவர் அதில் *நோன்பு நோற்கட்டும்.* *நோயாளியாகவோ, பயணத்திலோ இருப்பவர் வேறு நாட்களில் கணக்கிட்டுக் கொள்ளலாம்*. அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்கு எளிதானதையே நாடுகிறான். *சிரமமானதை உங்களுக்கு நாடமாட்டான்.* எண்ணிக்கையை நீங்கள் முழுமையாக்குவதற்காகவும், உங்களுக்கு நேர்வழி காட்டியதற்காக நீங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வைப் பெருமைப்படுத்திடவும், நன்றி செலுத்திடவும் (வேறு நாட்களில் நோற்கும் சலுகை வழங்கப்பட்டது).
شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ الَّذِي أُنْزِلَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنُ هُدًى لِلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَاتٍ مِنَ الْهُدَىٰ وَالْفُرْقَانِ ۚ فَمَنْ شَهِدَ مِنْكُمُ الشَّهْرَ فَلْيَصُمْهُ ۖ وَمَنْ كَانَ مَرِيضًا أَوْ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٍ فَعِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ ۗ يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ بِكُمُ الْيُسْرَ وَلَا يُرِيدُ بِكُمُ الْعُسْرَ وَلِتُكْمِلُوا الْعِدَّةَ وَلِتُكَبِّرُوا اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ مَا هَدَاكُمْ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ
*Ramadan is the month in which the Quran was revealed. Guidance for humanity,* and clear portents of guidance, and the Criterion. Whoever of you witnesses the month, *shall fast it.* But whoever is *sick, or on a journey, then a number of other days.* God desires ease for you, and does not desire hardship for you, that you may complete the number, and celebrate God for having guided you, so that you may be thankful.
